Aegon Nottingham Men’s Open Returns Too!
2016 sees the return of Nottingham’s own grass court tennis tournaments, Aegon Open Nottingham WTA and ATP, after sell-out success last year. Why not head down to the Tennis Centre and watch the action out on court!
Last year the ATP tournament saw a win for for Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan, as he saw off 2010 Aegon Championships winner Sam Querrey in a thrilling two set final, to win his first ever ATP World Tour title. It returns this weekend running from 18th to 25th June.
Nottingham is looking forward to welcoming Denis Istomin again, who will return to defend his Aegon Open (ATP) title. He will join a field that also includes last year’s semi-finalist Alexandr Dolgopolov. World No. 19 Kevin Anderson also play. He was runner up to Andy Murray in the final of last year’s Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club. Jiří Veselý — one of the only players to beat World No.1 Novak Djokovic so far in 2016 is also in the line up.
You can buy your tickets online by visiting the tournament website! Go on – see some world class tennis in Nottingham!
