SOLAR School Swimming Service makes a 125 years Splash – Victorian Style!
It may have been 18th May 2016 but yesterday at Harvey Hadden Sports Village it was 1891 with 170 children taking to the water Victorian Style to Celebrate125 Years of School Swimming
It may surprise people to know this essential life skill has been part of the national curriculum for 125 years and still going strong. It was an amazing experience to go back in time and then to think of the opportunities that children have today, to know their achievements big and small for social or competitive swimming are recognised
